making your pendrive bootable using command prompt

How to make a pendrive  bootable  using  cmd

  • Press  ctrl and R to open the run application. 
  • Type in cmd and hit the return  or enter key
  • In the opened cmd window,  type diskpart and hit the enter key
  • In your newly opened cmd window, type list disk and press enter
  •  Type select disk 1 and press enter to select the inserted removable media or drive
NB: disk 0 is your computer's main hard drive so never select that.

  • After selecting your media, type clean and hit enter
  • Now tye create partition primary and hit enter
  • Type select partition and press enter
  • Now type format =fs ntfs quick and hit enter
  • wait for the drive to format to 100%
  • After formatting to 100%, type active and hit enter 
  • Type exit to quit the cmd windows opened
  • Now go to where you have your windows os files and copy them to your pendrive
